A BUSINESS Cessna plane has crashed into a hangar at Santa Monica’s Airport, leaving no survivors.

It is still unknown how many people were on board the plane.

Those at the airport at the time of the crash said they heard loud explosions.

Staff at the airport’s front desk said they saw firetrucks gathered on the tarmac.

The hangar collapsed, and firefighters were unable to enter more than two hours after the crash, said Captain John Nevandro of the Santa Monica Fire Department.

“It was an unsurvivable crash,” Nevandro said.

It is understood that this type of plane carries anywhere between seven to nine passengers.
