Ohio teacher Madeline Marx admits having sex with students after sending nudes on Snapchat and Instagram

A TEACHER has told detectives she performed a sex act on one studentl and had intercourse with another, according to officers.

Madeline Marx, 23, also admitted sending nude pictures of herself to one of the two students via Snapchat, police records said following her arrest on Wednesday.

Marx worked as a substitute teacher at Fairmount High School in Ohio when the alleged sex acts took place earlier this year.

A Year 12 student told officers the teacher performed oral sex on him in a parking lot in July, while another boy in the same year said he had sex with her in an apartment near a parking lot in September.

It was during a police interview that Marx confessed to the crimes and that she sent “several nude pictures” over Snapchat and Instagram, a warrant stated.

Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr said in a statement: “Teachers are entrusted with the responsibility of educating children who are becoming young adults.

“This defendant took advantage of her position and developed a sexual relationship with minor students.”

Marx started her job at the school last year and Scott Inskeep, the superintendent, said there had been no previous problems with her.

He added: “There were no signs or anything that we knew about that would’ve caused us to be conceed.”

The date for her case before a grand jury will be set in the near future.

Court documents reveal that Marx could be released ahead of the trial, with instructions that she must “reside with her dad at his residence while the case is pending.”
