Middle SchoolTeacher Mark Cline Facing Porn Charges

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Details are emerging about a Will C. Wood Middle School teacher who was arrested at his home in Clements on suspicion of possession of child poography.

Mark Allen Cline, 45, teaches special education at the Sacramento school, located at 6201 Lemon Hill Ave.

Authorities said Cline was taken into custody on Dec. 22 after a tip led investigators to his home.

Police seized a computer at the home that they said contains child poography images.

School officials were notified on Dec. 24.

Because of the holiday break, school officials did not send out a phone message about the arrest to parents of middle school students until last Friday.

Officials said there is no indication that any of the images include students from the school.

Cline has been released on $100,000 bail. He is set to appear in court in San Joaquin County on Monday.
