According to a report in the New York Post, high school cheerleader, Hailey Suder, aged 18, has pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of being an accessory after the fact in the murder of a homeless man who was beat to death during an April robbery near San Diego, Califoia.

It was reported last week that Suder is the girlfriend of one of the two brothers who are charged with killing 50- year- old George Lowery. It is unclear, however, what role that she played in the murder, or which brother she was dating.

Police said that on April 24, Lowery’s wife, who lived with him in a makeshift camp, found him unconscious in a field, with injuries to his upper body. Lowery was taken to a hospital where he died four days later. He had also been tied up and robbed. Police arrested 21- year- old Austin Larry Mostrong and 19- year- old Preston Autry Mostrong on suspicion of committing the assault. The two pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and torture.

Suder was remanded into police custody and bail was set at $100,000. She faces three years and eight months jail time if convicted.

She has a preliminary hearing scheduled for July 5.
