Divers in close encounter with humpback whales
A GROUP of divers came very close to being swallowed up by a pair of humpback whales.
The close encounter happened off the coast of central Califoia and was captured on video posted online.
In the footage the whales are shown with their mouths wide open while several people swim around them in wetsuits.
At one point, the whales come up to the surface just a few feet away from where the divers are swimming.
The video also shows fish swimming away as the whales emerge.
