Detroit Man Jonathan Baker Murdered, Family Suspects Gang Members
DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) - A young man is shot and killed in Detroit. Family members believe a gang is terrorizing their neighborhood. The victim, Jonathan Baker, 24, was gunned down in the middle of the day.
It happened Friday afteoon at a Joy Rd. bus stop. Baker and his wife were headed to the store when suddenly family members say three guys came up and shot him multiple times. Sources say it started out as a robbery and apparently one of the robbers grew impatient with Jonathan and opened fire. A cold and cruel end for a man who dedicated his life to uplifting others.
The murdered happened in broad daylight so there are witnesses. We're told police could close the case soon.
