Convicted sex offender Isabel Chavelo Gutierrez dies while raping 77-year-old
A convicted sex offender died raping a 77-year-old woman in Rivoli, Texas, in one last gruesome act before passing out.
Isabel Chavelo Gutierrez was in the middle of assaulting the elderly victim when he complained to her that he wasn’t feeling well and stopped having sex with her, the Corpus Christi Caller reported.
He then rolled over and fell unconscious, and the woman was able to escape her house. Gutierrez was dead by the time authorities arrived.
Investigators told the newspaper they believe the creep died of a heart attack.
The victim told police she spotted the 5-foot-7 man at the post office a day before the June 2 attack.
He was released from prison in 2008 and was on parole at the time of the attack for crimes including aggravated sexual assault and indecency with a 7-year-old child.
