Connecticut woman Aimee Toms mistaken for transgender in bathroom, gets scolded by stranger

A straight Connecticut woman who identifies as female said she was approached by a stranger in a Walmart bathroom on Friday who misttok her for transgender and told she was “disgusting”. In a case similar to the Jessica Rush story we posted two weeks ago, the stranger thought she was transgender because of her haircut and baseball cap.

Aimee Toms, 22, took to Facebook in a profanity-laced rant to talk about her displeasure with the whole affair, the Connecticut Postreports.

She told the New York Daily News that she has been referred to as a “lesbian” and “whore” since her video went viral. “People have irrational fears. I'd like for them to know this simply isn't something to be so angry about,” she added. Her response video has been viewed more than 49,000 times since it was posted on May 13.
