Barbara Wu : A student, four exes and the double murder plot
A UNIVERSITY student is accused of approaching two of her former lovers to have them kill another two of her ex-boyfriends.
Barbara Wu, 22, who attends the University of Califoia, is alleged to have violently threatened two of her former flames, and was caught on a police wire-tap apparently plotting the murder of another.
She has pleaded not guilty to six charges, including soliciting murder and stalking, ABC News reports.
One of the former boyfriends, Dennis Lin, told a court he was asked to abduct and kill one of Wu's exes.
"She asked me to kidnap him, tie him up so she could break his legs with a bat, to motorcycle him and then to somehow kill him and then dispose of the body," he said.
Mr Lin told police he had been approached by Wu in December last year and then agreed to wear a wire.
The man Wu had allegedly targeted by approaching Mr Lin also told court: "She guarded the door with a knife. She tried to attack me with the knife and that's all I remember."
The man, who has not been publicly identified, also testified that Wu sent him threatening emails and text messages and posted his personal information on the popular classifieds site Craigslist.

But Wu's lawyer argues the prosecution's case has no depth and that his client is just misunderstood.
"They have yet to produce one threat of any kind that my client made," he said, according to ABC News. "What you're going to see though, is a spued young person that was very much in love."
