Alleged New York bomber Ahmad Khan Rahami arrested after shoot-out with police
The man accused of being the New York and New Jersey bomber has been arrested according to ABC News.
It is believed Ahmad Khan Rahami had been taken into custody after a shootout with police in Linden, New Jersey.
Two officers are believed to have been injured in the shootout.
Mayor Bill de Blasio previously said Ahmad Khan Rahami, a naturalised citizen from Afghanistan, could be armed and dangerous.
‘We need to get this guy in right away,’ Mr de Blasio said on CNN. ‘My experience is once the FBI zeroes in on someone, they will get them.’
Police released another two pictures later on.
