Teacher Kendal Anthony DeSisso Accused Of Touching Students

HOUSTON -- A teacher has been accused of inappropriate behavior with students.

Kendal Anthony DeSisso has been charged with second-degree felony improper relationship with a student.

DeSisso was an algebra teacher at Westbury Christian School.

Two girls have accused DeSisso of touching them in his classroom in separate incidents, investigators said.

Houston police said one of the girls said DeSisso locked the door while she was alone with him in January. Investigators said the girl told them that he stroked her breast while asking if it made her feel uncomfortable.

Detectives said the second girl described a similar incident that allegedly happened May 9. Police said the girl told them he locked the door and began rubbing her back and breast. She alerted school officials the same day, investigators said.

"The school immediately began an inteal investigation, and on Tuesday moing, May 10, Mr. DeSisso was sent home and relieved of duties involving direct contact with students," a school representative wrote in a statement. :Arrangements were made to have Mr. DeSisso's classes taught by a substitute teacher for the rest of the school year."

School officials said DeSisso later tued in his resignation dated June 9.

If convicted, DeSisso faces up to 40 years in prison.
