Police: Teacher Vincente Pachay Arrested For Luring Child

ST. CLOUD, Fla. -- St. Cloud police said a Michigan Elementary School teacher was arrested after he lured a girl into his car and started to touch her.

Police said the incident happened on July 6 when the girl was approached by 56-year-old Vincente Pachay, a teacher at Michigan Elementary School in St. Cloud, while walking home from school.

Pachay followed the girl in his car and asked her, several times, to get in his car for a ride, police said.

Pachay asked the victim if she wanted to ride around with him for a while before taking her home, police said.

The victim told police Pachay began rubbing her thighs and pulling her skirt up, police said.

Police said the victim became scared, pushed his hand away and pulled her skirt down.

Police said Pachay drove the victim around the block before dropping her off.

The victim's grandmother saw the victim getting out of the car and was upset, police said.

When police questioned Pachay, he denied giving the victim a ride and asked for his attoey.

Police were able to get an arrest warrant for Pachay for luring and enticing a child and battery.

Pachay tued himself in with his attoey on Sunday, and he was taken to the Osceola County jail.
