Police Search for Armored Car Thieves
Atlanta police are on the hunt for some armored car thieves. Police say the crooks struck near a shopping plaza on Howell Mill Road early Tuesday moing.
Police say two black males were waiting near an ATM at a Bank of America when an armored car approached to replenish the ATM.
That's when one of the suspects -- armed with a gun -- approached a guard and demanded a bag of money the guard was carrying, say police.
The two suspects then fled on foot after taking the bag.
The two guards with the armored car were unharmed, say police.
Police did not say how much money was taken.
