Ohio mom Christine Chambers goes missing after taking son to park
Police are searching for an Ohio woman who went missing Sunday night after taking her 9-year-old son to a skate park.
Christine Marie Chambers was last seen at Memorial Park in Euclid, northeast of Cleveland, with her son. When the boy was ready to leave the skate park, his mom was gone, reports WEWS.
According to WKYC, authorities located the Euclid woman's SUV which contained her keys, purse, wallet, and cell phone.
The interior of the Lexus appeared to be undisturbed, WKYC reports.
"Certainly, there is a potential for a terrible thing," Euclid Det. Sgt. Mitch Houser reportedly said.
Chambers arrived in the Cleveland area about 3 weeks ago from Califoia and was apparently staying with a man, according to WEWS.
WEWS reports that Chambers had a warrant out for her arrest and is wanted for trafficking marijuana in Califoia.
Cops reportedly say that her son remains in the custody of Children and Family Services.
Chambers is 32, 5-feet-4-inches tall, and weighs 140 pounds.
Euclid Police ask that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Chambers will contact them at 216-289-8505.
