It's the Lego Ghostbusters set you've been waiting for

Like Lego? Like Ghostbusters? Then this set, featuring the film’s characters recreated in plastic brick form, could well soar to the top of your must-have list.

The set, which Lego CUUSOO unveiled yesterday, was originally pitched to the company by a fan.

However it has has now become a reality, marking the 30th anniversary of the film’s release, while coming hot on the heels of speculation that the long-awaited Ghostbusters 3 is imminent.

It features the Ghostbusters themselves,  Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler and Winston Zeddemore, – aka Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Eie Hudson – as well as a faithful recreation of their ‘Ectomobile’.

And while the Lego recreation of ghostly Mr Stay-Puft appears to have been unfortunately omitted, this is still a pretty awesome collector’s item – as the pictures below prove.
