Cruel pet owner Cody Alexander Mann ‘skinned cat and baked it with onions’
A pet owner has been arrested on animal cruelty and torture charges after allegedly skinning and baking his cat.
Cody Alexander Mann told police he killed it as he wanted to see how it would taste ‘cooked with onions’.
The 28-year-old, of Minnesota, was arrested after his father contacted police telling them his son had started making ‘strange comments’.
Additionally, his landlord called police to report a buing smell in Mann’s apartment.
An officer entered the apartment and found the cat’s body inside the oven, and the cat’s skin and entrails inside the freezer.
WCCO-TV reports Mann has a history of drug abuse and mental illness. He is in jail after making a court appearance Wednesday.
