A fit of road rage in Fontana, Califoia was caught on video on Tuesday by a witness in a nearby car.

Driver Jonathan Martinez was travelling down the Valley Boulevard when he saw a man get out of his car and drag out the passenger of another car.

'I was going home from work and all of a sudden, you know, I saw the people get out the car and start fighting and I'm like ‘What happened?’ and I started recording,' Martinez told NBC.

After being pulled from his car, a passenger of the vehicle begins to fight back and is later joined by the female driver in his car who kicks the instigator numerous times. The fight came to a screeching halt after two men showed up to break it up.

Martinez says he doesn't know what events led up to the fight but said he doesn't think the passengers in the cars knew one another.

'For sure it was road rage. You should have seen the other guy looked all mad. Somebody cut him off or driving too slow,' Martinez said.

'They need anger management. It's not right. Everybody should just relax,' he added.

Officer Travis Monks told NBC that the incident is troubling and is an example of why drivers should stay in their cars during an altercation on the road.

'You don't know what they have. They may have a knife, they might have a gun. You don't know what type of mental state they are in,' Monks said.
