Aids activist Dr John Wolf arrested on charges including child pornography, bestiality and crystal meth
A popular dentist and Aids activist has been arrested on a string of charges including child poography, sexual intercourse with animals, trading dental work for crystal methamphetamine and willfully attempting to spread HIV.
Dr John Wolf, from New York, is a well known figure in the Chelsea district of Manhattan praised for his advocacy of gay rights and Aids awareness. He famously won a lawsuit against his landlord in the 1980s when it was demanded that he not treat patients living with HIV.
But Wolf was allegedly found to be in possession of a cache of methamphetamine and a flash drive containing 246 files, most of which contained child po. A criminal complaint also alleges that Wolf poked holes in condoms in an attempt to transmit HIV to his sexual partners.
He was arrested when a drug dealer told authorities Wolf had ‘paid’ for amphetamines with dental work and shown in footage of ‘infants and toddlers being sexually abused by adults’, reports Gawker.
The FBI had the dealer secretly record his conversations with Wolf, one of which involved Wolf recalling a party in Brooklyn where ‘participants would engage in sexual intercourse with animals’.
‘Drug investigations have taken us down dark roads before, but nothing darker than the office practices of Dr. Wolf,’ said James J. Hunt, special agent in charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New York division.
