'Adorable kingpin' with happy mug shot is DEA official's daughter, report says

Sarah Furay, notorious for her cheerful mug shot after being arrested on drug charges, is the daughter of Agent Bill Furay, a Drug Enforcement Administration official once in charge of the DEA’s office in Galveston, Texas, according to a report. 

Furay, 19, was arrested in College Station, Texas, for allegedly possessing cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, meth and a drug “similar to LSD.”  Her big-grinned mug shot went viral, with some calling it “the happiest mugshot in America.” 

The mugshot led some publications to sarcastically dub her an “adorable drug kingpin.” 

Furay spent a day in jail and was released after posting $39,000 bond.
