Is a Dog's Burial Worthy of a Front Page Breaking News Banner?
I was scrolling on the front page of a popular Atlanta news website when I came across the headline. At first, I thought it was for a slain police officer killed in the line of duty. You can imagine my shock when I read the alert was for a dog.

I understand a dog died. I understand the dog died in the line of duty. I don't however, understand why the dog's burial is worthy of a digital Breaking News Banner which is the equivalent of a front page?

We have turned into a society where a dog's burial get front pages while veterans are relegated to the back page. We have become a society where men who chose to be women have more rights than an actual woman.
I am too diistraught to continue my opinion.
